Research carried out by the utility comparison website, Uswitch.com has revealed that Edinburgh is one of the worst cities in the UK for broadband outages.

With an average of nearly two days of lost connectivity over the last year, Edinburgh has been ranked the sixth worst city. This is however a marked improvement compared to the previous year when the famous Scottish city topped the leader board.

When Edinburgh residents are hit with an outage, it was also found that the average household experiences downtime of around 22.4 hours.
